The academy is based in Milnerton, and our training centre is at the Milpark Building. If you live along the West Coast side of the city — Table View, Blouberg, Parklands, Century City, Sunningdale, Edgemead, Monte Vista or Century City — this is your closest firearm training academy.
The classroom half of every course happens here: the Firearms Control Act, the written work, the handling drills and the assessment. The live-fire half happens at an accredited range, because our SAPS accreditation requires it.
That split is worth understanding when you plan your time. You are not driving to the coast for the whole course — only for the shooting.
First-time owners from Table View and Parklands applying for a competency certificate. Security officers working the Century City and Montague Gardens contracts who need their Regulation 21 renewed. Hunters from Durbanville and Bellville adding a rifle unit standard. Blouberg residents who bought a shotgun for the house and have never fired it.
Small groups, one-on-one where it is needed, and plain language throughout. Several of the people we train have owned a firearm for years and never had a single hour of real instruction — that is a very normal place to start from.

Theory and assessment in Milnerton, then a range day for the live fire. For Regulation 21 that range day is a Thursday at False Bay. For a competency course we fit the range day to the group.
